Mid 1920's Vintage Gibson L0 / L1 Acoustic Guitar
The 1920's Gibson L-1 made History. Robert Johnson played the L1 in the Mississippi delta and we are still feeling the waves of that movement of pure American music. It changed American music forever. This guitar is in great shape for its. There is wear and tear but sounds amazing. From what I can tell, all the hair line cracks have been repaired. This guitar has tons of character and has seen a life I can only imagine. Since I've had it, I had the neck reset, bone nut replaced and partial fret replacement with the original L-1 style. If you look at the picture showing the serial number inside, you will notice a slight twist in the neck. It does not effect the sound or comfort of playing. You can't tell that any work has been done. It also includes what I would say is the original case.
I will also include the bill of repairs for your records. Due to age, this is an as-is sale. Check Out My Other Items.
