It's a Gibson acoustic-electric performance guitar, made in Bozeman Montana. It has the small jumbo shape, and solid spruce top of a J-185. Acoustic-electric, black finish, double bound 16 body, cutaway, spruce top, maple sides and back, 3 piece mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, 20 frets, rosewood bridge, b-w pickguard, headstock overlay features logo. His Gibson sounds good both amplified and un-amplified. Sheryl Crow played a similar model during the Breakfast Club tour, and can be seen playing it in the video "Sheryl Crow Riverwide Acoustic 1998". It has about average playwear with some clear coat marks and some light finish checking around the body/neck joint. The pick guard has a good bit of scratches on it.
There are some clear coat scratches on the back. It sounds like a canon and plays beautifully. It has a fresh detailing and set up with Martin 13's and is ready to go. Comes with the original, but a bit beat up Gibson hardshell case as seen in the pictures.
