Introduced in 2018 as part of the AZ series of solid-body electric guitars, the AZ224F follows decades of Ibanez design experience. Meant to move beyond current boundaries in playability and sound, the guitar has a fast, live oval-"C" profile roasted maple neck on a lightweight basswood body and Hyperion pickups developed by Seymour Duncan. Seymour Duncan® Hyperion Pickups feature a moderate output through Alnico-5 magnets to keep the clarity of the fundamental tone when using a distortion sound, and to deliver a clear pick attack. From treble to bass, the overall tonal balance is evenly adjusted. And works well with various effect pedals.

Dyna-MIX9 switching system w/Alter Switch. Gotoh® MAGNUM LOCK machine heads w/H. Ibanez T1502 synchronized bridge (Made by Gotoh®). T1502 tremolo bridge features steel saddles and a die-cast zinc tremolo block for a quick response and improved articulation.

The 10.5mm string spacing allows for easy picking across strings. Its snap-in construction makes it easy to load a tremolo arm. 1E, 2B, 3G, 4D, 5A, 6E. My Factory 2nd guitars and basses are a tremendous value. These instruments do not have major flaws (UNLESS STATED).

These blemishes do not affect the playability of the instruments at all. Apart from the defect listed they are perfect, all the electronics, pickups, tuners, neck and frets etc. Each instrument gets set up and checked by me before it is released for sale. Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all. Instruments are stamped with an S on the back of the headstock.
