Has owned & cherished a Martin acoustic. The X series signifies a new age of Martin acoustics - one that uses new manufacturing techniques & brings that legendary guitar tone down to a previously unachievable price! These guitars look a little basic - but thats a good thing! Martin have focused all the energy at just making a plain good guitar with no frills, & the basic tone is exceptionally good. These aren't made in the Far East either - these come from the American CF Martin factory, just the same as all the more expensive Martin models. Martin tone without the Martin price tag - we love these! Here's what Martin say about the 00LX1AE. This Grand Concert, slope shoulder model is constructed with a Sitka spruce top and mah0gany patterned high-pressure laminate back and sides, which offers a greater tolerance from fluctuating temperatures so you can take your guitar anywhere without worry. The high-performance tapered neck is constructed from a rust-colored birch laminate. A faux tortoise pickguard and Richlite fingerboard and bridge complete this model. The 00LX1AE is complete with Fishman Sonitone electronics to make it the perfect acoustic-electric guitar at an affordable price. In perfect working order and great overall condition - the guitar has been fully tested, it i.S fully operational and sounds fantastic! As the photos show, the item has minimal signs of cosmetic wear. Showing that is has been well looked after. The pick guard is a little scratched (as to be expected if the guitars been used).
The neck is in fantastic condition, along with the headstock. The bodies in great condition with only a few very small bumps and marks on the edges. Its neck is lovely & straight. The action on the strings feels fantastic!
