Compact and commanding, scalloped bracing and a three piece back will bring your remarkably bold sound to lifefingerpicking, strumming or soloing. Martin OM-35 was built between 2003 and 2007. It has since been discontinued, making this a very hard to find - and desirable - guitar! The model drew from the excellent tonal results of the OM design and added 35 level features. The Martin OM is itself based on the OOO or Triple O body design, but adds a longer scale length neck 25.4 inches instead of the Triple Os 24.9 inches.

The OM-35, like other OM and OOO models, sounds great and plays very well. This body design produces lots of volume, is very responsive, and has a very even representation throughout the harmonic range. The use of Indian Rosewood for the back and sides adds warmth to the tone.

Similar to what John Mayer plays. (His guitar is an OM-28). I had it built custom for me in 2006, from an authorized Martin dealer. I had him put on the tortoise-shell pickguard instead of the typical black, so that makes it pretty unique.

I've also since added a set of ebony bridge pins, though I still have the original pins as well. The guitar has aged beautifully and sounds as good or better than the day I got it! It has been my baby for 14 years. I hope someone else will appreciate this guitar. Includes original Martin hardshell case.
