Vintage USA Ovation 1985-1 Collectors Series Amazing Guitar. Original Ovation hard case included. But it is a great piece.

It is obviously a beautiful guitar but has surface scratches, dings and a couple of finish cracks and tarnish on the gold hardware. There is a ding on the top edge of the 4th fret pictured, but it does not affect play. I have removed the back cover and there is no sign of cracking in the wood. The battery is still good in the preamp and the preamp works beautifully. I played this through my Blackstar 5 watt with tubes on the clean channel with a nice dose of reverb and the sound is truly incredible.

The guitar sounds beautiful unplugged with a surprisingly full bottom end. The action of this instrument is not far from feeling like a good electric guitar. Fresh set of Ernie Ball Earthwood Extra Light strings.... I have oiled the fretboard and tightened the truss rod just a little...
