Vintage Rare 1954 Kay Electric Acoustic K151 Beautiful Archtop Guitar

Beautiful Kay K151 Acoustic Electric Archtop Guitar American Made. Amazing finish, the curly maple back is stunning. Solid spruce top, in a company that was famous for laminated tone woods. The Master Size full cutaway body is 17 inches at the lower bout. No scratchy volume or tone, really solid clear response through the amp. Fully arched spruce top and curly maple back and sides. Arrow straight reinforced neck, clean and in great shape.

Frets have been gone over minor leveling re-crowned and polished. Plays like butter up and down the neck. No buzz, no dead spots action is sitting at just above 2mm. Has the double bound body top and bottom white with the "extra black" celluloid binding in perfect shape.

These guitars are rare to begin with, but to find one in this condition and with this like new playability is just amazing. She is not with out a few very minor dings, but no checking no cracking. All the bracing and binding are original and intact. All just as she came from the factory, American made, top to bottom.

As well as pickguard and her controls. This is a gem and she is in amazing shape. She will be around in another 60 70 yrs as well. This is an everyday player, solid as a rock.
