The NTX1 acoustic electric, nylon string guitar's modern looks and comfortable neck profile enable electric guitarists and steel-string players to easily explore the world of nylon string playing, while strap buttons and exceptional amplified sound make it especially appealing to performing guitarists. As a result of precise measurement and experimentation, several bracing refinements were made that enhance low-frequency response without compromising durability.
These changes were further refined to emphasize the natural characteristics of specific tonewoods and optimize the body silhouette of the NTX1. The NTX1 utilizes Yamaha's APX thinline body shape and is crafted with a solid Sitka Spruce top and Nato back and sides in a natural gloss finish. The top of this guitar showcases black and white body binding and a soundhole rosette inlayed with Mah and Padauk. The modern profile Nato neck further accommodates adapting to a nylon string guitar with a slimmed down 1 7/8" nut width and ultra flat 23 5/8" fretboard radius on the Walnut fretboard.
